FEM is a must-do coliving if you love nature, human connection and pets.
The area is beautiful with plenty of hikes, a river and cycling climbs. The owners are putting a lot of effort into creating a warm community that does a lot of activities together (BBQ, dinners, game nights, weekend trips,…). It is a unique and tidy house from the inside. Outside, it is fun to be with the cats and the lovely dog Laika.
Spending time at FEM is fantastic. I just went my 2nd time and am definitely going back again soon. Thank you, Joan and Elena!

My coliving experience here was absolutely amazing! The house is beautiful and cozy. The area is lovely (you can hike from the house), but what really made this experience special were the people and especially our hosts, Elena and Joan. They made us feel at home from the start with their warm, welcoming, and super chill atmosphere.
There’s a perfect balance between personal space and social time - everyone does their own thing with no pressure to join group activities. And when we hung out, it was always fun and natural.
It’s also the perfect environment to work—the Wi-Fi was flawless, and the coworking space is bright and comfortable.
I came during a rainy, cold month and i loved it ❤️ I’m already looking forward to coming back.
I’m truly grateful to have met such amazing people. Soooo if you're looking for a refreshing escape with kind, easygoing people … just go for it without a second thought!
My month-long stay at FEM was my first coliving experience and it was exceptional. The owners, location, and house exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a spacious double room with a friend, and the house was well-organized and tidy. The cozy living room with a fireplace and the productive work area with a great view were highlights. Afternoons were spent hiking or cycling to nearby villages. We also enjoyed mushroom and blackberry picking and cooking dinners together. Additionally, we attended weekly spinning classes that were just a 10-minute bike ride from the house. The owners, Elena and Juan, were warm and welcoming, making the whole coliving vibe feel just right.

Staying at FEM was unforgettable. Set in beautiful nature, it's the perfect mix of peace and fun, ideal for both chilling and exploring. The coworking space is perfect - spacious, fast internet, and a breathtaking view. For breaks, there's a peaceful green spot just minutes awy and hammock on the balcony. After work, you can hit the nearby trail or bike to charming towns, and on weekends, the Pyrenees are just waiting to be explored!
The house is clean and roomy, with spots to hang out or run from all the people if you need a break. 🫠
If possible, try to come with a car; it definitely makes getting around easier, especially on weekends. But even without it, you can see and do a lot of things.
Finally, Juan and Elena!! They are truly the best part of the whole experience - they go above and beyond to make you feel at home!

I’m incredibly grateful to have spent 3 months with Joan and Elena at La Folcra. They have put so much love and care into providing every modern amenity in this beautiful 15th century home tucked away in the Pyrenees. I’ll remember my time spent foraging in the forest, enjoying Joan’s delicious Paella, hiking in the mountains, waking up to the cows foraging outside the bedroom window , listening for owls, watching vultures from the terrace, sitting around a cozy fire together, making pizzas - so many special memories!
This was a wonderful way to get in touch with the spirit of Catalan. My time here felt like being part of a family and I learned a lot about the Catalan culture. Joan and Elena have a special place in my heart and I hope to return again. An unforgettable one of a kind experience for sure!
I spent two months in Fem, and it was an amazing time. I am very thankful to the hosts. The place is very beautiful, and my room had a view of the mountains. There is a nice river nearby and plenty of options for hikes. The co-working space has very nice furniture made by one of the hosts, making it very comfortable to work. Other people work there too, so it is perfect for those working remotely. The house is beautiful, and there are plenty of activities to do around—cycling, playing tennis, horse riding, festivals, and so on. The grocery and other shops are quite nearby. I highly recommend this place! Thank you so much for the experience. 💛💛
