Stylish and friendly hostel with plenty of communal areas, cute garden with fire pit to stay cosy in winter, and comfy sleeping options (private rooms, capsules, dorm beds). They offer a delicious Swiss breakfast and have facilities such as guest kitchen and cafe area to use and pool table. A few minutes walk from the station and 15 minutes from the airport it’s a great location for exploring this lovely city. Thanks for the hospitality!
Loved everything about Hyve! I choose to select a capsule bed and thought it was very comfy, I honestly slept so well and thought it was quite the experience so I highly recommend it :)
The location was quick and easy to find, on the same street as the SBB Basel which was perfect.
The staff was unreal, super kind, always very helpful and attentive - super happy I got to meet them and be surrounded by such wonderful people :)
This hostel was an absolute gem! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and friendliness by the staff, who went above and beyond to ensure my stay was comfortable. The location is unbeatable—in the middle of Basel. It's the perfect base for exploring the surrounding mountains, lakes, and charming towns. The room was clean and comfortable, with plenty of space and secure lockers. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Switzerland!!!
I recently visited and stayed in one of the capsules. It was great - the capsules offer a lot of privacy and security compared to standard dorm beds, so the price-point was ideal. Overall the ambiance was welcoming, and the staff were informative and friendly. Highly recommended!
Really excellent hostel with friendly, professional staff working here! Our room was cleaned daily...such a treat! The kitchen is totally adequate for meal preparation and the dining area is relaxing :) Great location with a park nearby, the train station 2 blocks and the downtown bars/restaurants... the mighty Rhine River a pleasant 15-20 minutes walk. I definitely recommend this hostel 🤠
