Best co-living ever. Mareike is the friendliest host you could ever imagine and the stay was really amazing.
For digital nomads a must-visit as the internet is super fast with around 200mbits and actually worked all the time. Also there's enough space to do meetings peacefully without interruption.
Everything is super clean, have never seen a better equiped kitchen, the bathrooms are amazing, there's towel for the hot springs and beach. Anything you can literally think of was taken care of by her.
Also from the balcony you can see the sea and enjoy the sun ⬇️
I could go on and on but just visit the place and check it out for yourself!
Lava Coliving surpassed all my expectations in every way.
Mareike has created a lovely and peaceful space for digital nomads and slow travelers to truly relax, work, and explore the island. In fact, I never felt like leaving and chose to lounge most days in the cozy outdoor spaces and just soak in the views.
The location is central and 15-20 minutes from everything. I do recommend a car for convenience.
Marieke is a very hard-working and wonderful hostess. She runs the co living house very professionally and makes sure it is spotless and clean and well stocked with everything one may need. She even organized outings and events for us and is always available if we needing anything.
Do not hesitate to book a stay, but be warned: u won't want to leave! 😁
As digital nomads we stayed in a lot of places on the island but this was by far the best ! Mareike is lovely, the house is spacious and has everything you need and the location is perfect. Fin the cat is also great 😸. If you're looking to work, explore and have an amazing time then look no further than Lava 😊.
We had a great time here at Lava Coliving. The house has a great location to explore the island with the car. The house itself is very nice, well equiped for people that do remote work but also for people that just spend their holiday here. We had a very spacious room with our own bathroom and views to the garden. The kitchen is big and well organized. The hostess is so friendly and helpful and made our stay just perfect. We can highly recommend this place and if we ever get back to the Azores we will for sure stay here.
I spent 2+ months at Lava and it has been incredible. Mareike and Miguel are two lovely souls who will make your stay even more worthwhile.
I highly recommend this beautiful coliving; if you're a digital nomad or remote worker, this is the place to be.
And by the way, the home cinema? W.O.W.
