I have tried all of the co-workings in Ahangama and Nets is by far the most beautiful one!! The "jungle office" sits on the rooftop (3rd floor) a bit off the main street and is surrounded by palm trees and jungle sounds which makes the atmosphere very special. You can either sit inside with AC or you can work outside on the terrace, if you're good with your balance you can also get inspired by relaxing in the front side net watching the sunset. There is coffee & tea all you can drink and every single staff member is very welcoming and friendly. I've never seen someone not smiling there :) Looking forward to enjoy this place again!
I stayed at Nets for 1 weeks, and it was absolutely amazing. It’s such a beautiful space, great rooms and lots of space to work at. The staff was very sweet and lovely. I would definitely recommend this place for a work getaway
From where to start? It’s a super nice and comfortable place to spend your workdays in the middle of the jungle. The co-working is well equipped with nice desks and fast internet. There is air conditioning and a lot of light in the room. The location is close to everything in Ahangama and in the meantime the building is situated in the middle of the forest - at a quiet and relaxing place. I spent two months working from there and met amazing people. The internet is reliable even if there is power cut, the building is supporting electricity. The people behind the idea Nets are wonderful and they will always help and support in any case. I can only recommend to anybody heading to Sri Lanka and willing to spend some time working. P.S The free coffee is super nice and maybe beats some of the local coffee shops 🙂
One of the nicest coworking I worked at. They got very stable and fast internet, comfortable ergonomic chairs and meeting rooms you can book in advance. The place is on the roof with a lot of light and great views, air conditioned and close to the beach for a midday ocean dip or sunset. The staff are super helpful and nice and after 2 weeks of working felt like a family
My initial plan was a week-long stay, but at the end we stayed here for a month and a half. As a new facility, Nets impressed us with its impeccable cleanliness and well-maintained amenities. A key feature for us was the fast and reliable internet and generator, vital for our remote work. The coworking space on the roof, air-conditioned for comfort, transcends the typical work environment. Its panoramic views are spectacular, offering a vista of storms, sunsets, rainbows, and wildlife, including monkeys and birds. This space is not just for work; it’s a sanctuary for relaxation and reflection. With ample seating, it’s an ideal spot for meditation, yoga, or simply enjoying a glass of wine. The included breakfast was delightful, and the fully equipped kitchen allowed us to cook the freshest fish bought directly from local fishermen. The location is perfect, being peacefully situated just five minutes away from the bustling main road. However, what truly set Nets apart were the hosts. Their friendliness, helpfulness, and continuous efforts to improve an already PERFECT space. Additionally, the team working at Nets were not just staff but became friends! Nets is ideal for those seeking a serene yet connected environment to work and live. Its combination of facilities, location, and the warmth of the hosts and team made it very hard for us to leave.
