I stayed here for a week in April and I’m coming back! I am a nomad and I stayed here as a Verifier for Nomadico to check out Casa Buho to make sure it’s a good fit for the nomad life. Not only did I fall in love with Antigua, but also this “house” and the family and staff! The house is very beautiful and peaceful with views of the active volcano! There is plenty of space to work and be productive but also spaces to relax and unwind. It’s only about 25-30 minute walk to get to the main area downtown. There are SO many cafes and restaurants and things to do! Lots of nature and volcano hikes as well. The family and staff are very welcoming and friendly- most speak English but some staff only speak Spanish, but I was still able to communicate. (I’ll be taking Spanish classes when I get there in August.) I will be there for two months - August and September as the community host, and I am looking forward to seeing the family and to explore more of Antigua!
