Built for year-round warmth with expansive outdoor decks, bougainvillea-framed balconies and leafy nooks.
This quiet town sits on a headland on the most southwestern tip of Portugal, framed by the Atlantic Coast and dramatic cliff faces. Generally sunny all year round and having multiple surf spots — Tonel, Beliche and Arrifana have waves suitable for beginners to intermediate and advanced surfers, with best conditions in winter. From May to September, the local town comes alive with seasonal restaurants, bars and cafés, making this a popular spot for European summer too.

I had the loveliest 4-night stay at Outsite Sagres (gifted stay) and cannot recommend it enough.
Everything was spotless and so aesthetic (also... rainshower!).
For anyone coming to work and not just on vacation (which I felt like was most people were, myself included), you'll love the co-working area. It's beautifully designed, spacious, and full of natural light, with fast WiFi, plenty of plugs, and a really quiet, focused atmosphere. Only thing is that there are no phone booths, but you can take calls outside, in your room, or there if the other people don't mind.
There's also a mini kitchen with tea, coffee, snacks, and a fridge. Makes you feel productive enough to get work out of the way asap and go surf or chill by the beach:D
If you have a lot of meetings or need alone time, you can also work from your room, I had a nice setup in front of a big window.
There is a separate kitchen / living room on the first floor with all the cooking appliances you may need and you get space in the fridge assigned to you so there is no fighting over fridge space haha
The community was a huge highlight. Everyone was so like-minded and open - it was easy to strike up a conversation, grab a meal together, or head out to explore. On my very first night, the community manager Paulo organised a get-together on the rooftop with drinks and snacks while we watched the sunset. It was a great way to meet people and set the tone for the whole stay. Paulo also runs coffee chats and is super generous with tips on what's happening around town. The rooftop itself is incredible, and the pool was a great bonus too.
The location is lovelyyy, especially if you're arriving without a car like I did (I took a bus from Lisbon). There are several beaches within a 10-15 minute walk, which I loved - though Uber is always an option if you'd rather not walk. There's also a surf school just 6 minutes away on foot, where I took a lesson and had so much fun (and it was beginner-friendly and easy to pick up).
A few local recommendations: definitely check out the "Laundry Lounge" for live music and food, and "Three Little Birds" for amazing breakfast pancakes. If you're into working out, check out "Mandala" which is about 15 min away by foot - I went to a strength workout and it was outside and amazing. They also have yoga, sauna, cold plunge etc.
If you're considering Outsite Sagres for a workation - go. I'm sure I'll be back. It's the kind of place where everything comes together perfectly. I feel like my batteries are recharged:)
I spent the month of April at Outsite Sagres doing their curated trip, and it exceeded every expectation.
The coworking space is where I lived during the day: good energy and amazing people. The community that formed that month was the kind you don’t expect but are really glad you found. And it wasn’t just at Outsite either. Sagres as a town is just… lovely. Everyone was welcoming from day one.
Paulo runs the place like someone who actually cares, quietly making everything happen. Rooftop yoga in the morning, a coastal hike that I’m still thinking about, a trivia night we won (still a big deal), and Thursday karaoke at Dromedario which quickly became the highlight of every week.
The beaches are something else. The food is better than you’d expect. And the sunsets are genuinely unfair.
Would go back. Would do the curated trip again. Would recommend it to anyone who works remotely and wants a month that actually feels like something.
Paolo went above and beyond from day one... actually, before day one. He checked in before I arrived, followed up, and kept that same thoughtful energy all week. He filled the week with coffee hangs, rooftop drinks, karaoke, and great conversations... and has a way of making everyone feel included and at ease.
Plus... his local recommendations made it very easy to fall in love with the area. You can tell he genuinely cares. It made the whole experience feel effortless.
Already looking forward to my next time in Sagres.
Really liked my few weeks in Sagres! Paolo the new community manager was great, and made good friends during my stay!
Loved waking up with ocean view too 😮💨
Stayed here for a month, came back soon for another one. The ocean view is simply incredible. The house is beautifully designed and fully equipped for a longer stay. The workspace is great with reliable Wi-Fi and the rooftop and plunge pool are perfect for unwinding after or between work sessions. The location couldn’t be better — an easy walk to the supermarket, town and beaches. The town itself is peaceful with a vibrant surf and yoga community.
I stayed many months in the house and absolutely love it! Always extend my stays, and come back. Stayed in spring, fall and winter. What I like the most is the view (and sunrise) from the house!
Had a great stay at the Outsite in Sagres. The people there are great, it has a large coworking space and I had no issues with my room. The location is perfect everything you need is in walking distance.
I loved staying at this Outsite location. I came in the off season but I still love Sagres. It’s such a cute charming town. The Outsite space was perfect with a spacious rooftop, coworking space and of course free coffee 🤤
