I had a wonderful experience at Space! The hostel is really welcoming, and the rancho is perfect for relaxing and enjoying the pools. The food and drinks were great, but the best part was definitely the staff—everyone was super friendly, especially Danni, Julio, and Maria! The shuttle service from town was also very convenient. Thanks for making me feel at home!
This place was amazing! The rooms are built from concrete so it was very soundproofed. We had a room with A/C and a fan and we were a perfect temperature the whole night. 50 Mbps Upload AND download speed so working there is a dream. If you are looking for a good quiet cowork hostel, this is your space.
I had a great stay at the Space. The hostel is great and the rancho is a really great spot to hang out and enjoy the pools. The food and drinks were amazing and so are all of the guys working in the bar, especially Danny! Shuttles too and from town come in very handy too. Thanks for having me!
I stayed in the space for a few weeks, and had an incredible time! Such a beautiful place to chill out , even though it rained for a while when I was there, I was nice and cosy and kept busy with the various activities during the day. The cocktails were so good🔥 thanks to Danny el hombre! And all the staff were super helpful and accommodating with any questions I had. I rented a bike from the hostel which made my stay in San Juan a lot more enjoyable allowing me to explore all over! Overall great hostel 👍🏻
The stay was good. The staff was very professional and accommodating. The only things I will complain about is the limited selection of food and direct access to the beach. The owner for some reason doesn't allow beef. Its all chicken and seems like its for mostly vegetarian people and very small portions are given per plate for the prices asked. You have to walk a little to get to the beach and almost all beaches you have to pay for access. There are almost no public beaches in all San Juan Del Sur central or outlying as to the knowledge given to us! The prices of the rooms can be a little more economical due to the fact that some do not have air conditioning! Loved the cool water pool! I felt like I was swimming in a river. Also loved some of the wild life that showed up to say hi like the Howler monkeys and Urracas! If staying here I would recommend that you go to the Bahía Portal del Mar. You will have access to the beach and pools for $25 dollars per person that includes your meal. You can also rent a cabin there. I enjoyed the vacation in San Juan Del Sur but I would not come back due to no public access to beaches and the obligation to spend unnecessarily to enjoy your vacation.
I’ve traveled extensively and experienced countless hostels, but this one truly stands out as the best. The atmosphere is unbeatable, with fantastic music, mouth-watering food, and a team that's always warm and welcoming. Although it's a short 10-minute drive from the heart of town, they make it incredibly easy with their 10 daily shuttle services, ensuring you’re always connected and your stay is hassle-free. I’m genuinely impressed by the top-notch experience they provide at such a reasonable price – it’s an incredible find for anyone visiting San Juan!
The Staff is extremly friendly and the food was extraordinarily delicious! And also pretty cheap. It‘s really cozy. There are also really beautiful beaches you can get to in 10-20 minutes and even a hidden beach with no people you can walk to in about 10 minutes. The only slightly negative thing is there is music playing constantly and I get easily overstimulated but I think most people like it so it makes sense.
