Stayed 4 nights here and the place did not disappoint! Lovely venue, bedrooms and social spaces! Place was spotless and the staff were always friendly and super attentive! Would highly recommend for a relaxed break
Beautifully clean rooms and awesome ambiance. Offers cheap shuttles to downtown San Juan del Sur and great activities for cheap. 5$ Yoga and 5$ Mixology classes for example. We are loving it so far!
This is a very nice place that excellent food and the owners are very nice. Kevin treated me very well at the front desk and I slept like a baby here. The hot showers are nice and the AC rooms are perfect. Definitely a chill place and relaxing. I like smaller places that I can enjoy myself. We will come back for sure. I suggest you come and enjoy yourself. It’s an amazing view and can sit and just be by yourself. The shuttle comes and takes you into town every 30 min. Great atmosphere!!! Thanks Edwin ! You guys are the best.

If you’re not looking to party don’t come here. This hostel has an identity crisis. They sell it as a chill, co-work, healthy place but in the mean time their agenda looks like this: Thursday: beerpong, Friday: karaoke, Saturday: New weekly Elektronic music party from 4pm until 2 am right in front of the dorms/privates, Sunday: Sunday funday party visits this place for 4 hours. So it is a party hostel. In the meantime everybody I met just wanted to chill. All the other activities during the day were cancelled because nobody signed up. We left after 2 days because we just wanted to chill after all the other parties in Nicaragua. It was nice that they understood and refunded the other nights. The food was also good!
The facilities are great! Good rooms, good bathroom, nice swimming pool; BUT the barstaff broke the whole experience for me, staff in general is very emotionless and 1 particular lady at the bar doesn't seem to care about the guests.. smiling, laughing and talking with colleagues behind the bar but as soon as you wanted to place an order the smile and talkative parts got lost.. felt like I was not welcome at all. Hostel is not in the center of San Juan but offers a shuttle to city center for 2$/trip arriving/departing at Ikal restaurant. Sadly enough I would not go back of I have the chance to ever visit SJ again.
The easiest way to sum it up is, it was beautifully disappointing. The place looks so very nice. However, the moment you get near any staff there, they look like they hate your guts. They do smile and exchange nice chats amongst themselves though. I'm not sure why they don't seem to like the guests.. but it makes what could be an incredible stay, uncomfortable. For digital nomads, they assume you're only working in their time zone from 7am-6pm, and then it is not accessible. Nothing is within walking distance, so it's not like you can walk to a cafe. Which brings me to their coffee. For a place that advertises killer coffee and calls out they are coffee lovers and have coffee stations.... Well... Once a day they put out the big container of coffee/percolator that you can self serve black coffee. Enough said there... The other awkward thing is that shuttles leave at 7am and then 11am to town... So, early or too late for breakfast. ... Right and then the last weird part.... There is a sign that says it's a $200 USD fine if they catch you with outside food. However their kitchen closes and 9pm and the kitchen cannot make any accomodations for allergies. Bar closes at 10pm... Lights out
