Really recommend this place as a luxurious hostel. The dorms are spacious, comfortable, have a mini locker at your bed to keep the important bits close to you and to charge your phone securely inside the locker and then giant lockers beneath for bags meaning the room is tidy. Individual curtains and fans per bed as well as AC and a giant fan. Gorgeous ensuite. Honestly nicest dorm room I've stayed in across several months backpacking. Common areas really cool and aesthic and seems to be tons of activites on site. Only drawback is you are outside of town and rely on shuttles or taxis to get around. Shuttle service offered by the hostel is good with lots of options so it's totally fine but just an FYI if you really want your own flexibility.
I loved this place! The space has been one of my favorite hostels I have stayed in! The rooms were really so great, kept clean and every day the staff would clean the room and the room would smell so nice! The staff was so nice, they would recognize me and even know my name every time I came and ask something! The food is great! The free coffee in the morning was awesome!! Really so nice here!
Very positive with some drawbacks.
We had a private room which was very big and clean on arrival. We did not get offered new towels or cleaning even though we stayed for 4 nights. I am sure this could have been requested but I would prefer if this had been stated at check in. We have stayed in many hostels in Nicaragua where this was standard practice on a daily basis.
The grounds were fabulous, very relaxing and plenty of chill out places. Even had some howler monkeys pass through as we sat in the pool.
The workspace here was excellent and very well equipped. Wifi also was excellent throughout our stay.
I know it is echoing alot of reviews previous but the staff were unbothered at best and hostile at worst. Check in was very friendly but this attitude disappeared quite quickly.
All in all, definitely one of the nicer hostels in SJDS but wouldn't stay here unless you are prepared to spend alot of time in the hostel due to its location. (There is shuttles but times can awkward and taxis are 10/15USD each way)
There was a Saturday night party that was pretty much empty but the music went until 2am, but this is well advertised so to be expected. Every other night was very chilled out and peaceful.
All in all would stay again if I wanted to chill out/get work done with a side of partying.
Stayed 4 nights here and the place did not disappoint! Lovely venue, bedrooms and social spaces! Place was spotless and the staff were always friendly and super attentive! Would highly recommend for a relaxed break
Beautifully clean rooms and awesome ambiance. Offers cheap shuttles to downtown San Juan del Sur and great activities for cheap. 5$ Yoga and 5$ Mixology classes for example. We are loving it so far!
This is a very nice place that excellent food and the owners are very nice. Kevin treated me very well at the front desk and I slept like a baby here. The hot showers are nice and the AC rooms are perfect. Definitely a chill place and relaxing. I like smaller places that I can enjoy myself. We will come back for sure. I suggest you come and enjoy yourself. It’s an amazing view and can sit and just be by yourself. The shuttle comes and takes you into town every 30 min. Great atmosphere!!! Thanks Edwin !
