The Space is just as beautiful as it is in photos. This was my first stop in Nicaragua. I had intended to stay the whole week, working remotely, but changed my plans after realizing how far The Space is from, well, anything. In retrospect the separate building offered as a co-working space, the stable wifi, the wonderful staff and the incredible food compensated for its location. The Space also offers a Shuttle for $2 per direction multiple times a day. To do it again I would schedule The Space for my “working days” and book somewhere more central for days that have more time to explore. All in all a great experience with warm and helpful staff, great meals and cozy ambience!
Best place to stay, cheap and very relax. The staff was nice and also if you love to party the weekends are the best time to be here, I had a good time here. Nicaragua so far the best Latin country I visited, the people, food, culture. Any visitors, I definitely recommend to stay here.
Pros: if you are young + solo traveler, they organize fun acitvities. Happy hour and cocktails for a very good price. Food is ok. Cons: No towels for the beach. Dark rooms without daylight. No hot water in shower (not a big deal but just considering the price). Far from the city center and beaches (limited shuttle bus options)
It’s a beautiful hostel, feels quite luxurious. There’s a swimming pool, bar/restaurant and plenty of comfy seats to gather with your friends. We went for the deluxe dorm which was so worth it as it had aircon, definitely worth the price! Only downside is that there is no kitchen, you have to buy your food there so it can be a bit pricey. Also, would be good to have more staff at reception as sometimes many people were checking in at the same time or had questions and there would be a long wait.
Great place in SJDS epically if you are looking for a little excitement but also some chill time. Thursday night party, but otherwise very chill place. Edelson is an excellent host and is super helpful. The common area is designed beautifully and the amenities are great, bar staff is excellent. It is a little outside of town but there are shuttles. Not all rooms have hot water and AC. If that’s something you are looking for be sure to call ahead and the staff are super helpful to ensure you get the room you are looking for.
