I LOVE this place. It has become my home in Cyprus since the day I discovered it. Every time I am back, I feel welcomed by the awesome community. The place is perfect if you want to be in the countryside, away from the chaos of the city. And now with a brand new fiber optic connection, faster than ever
I was disappointed with my stay at To Hani, especially after reading the earlier positive reviews. To Hani was the fourth co-living I have stayed in, and I think I have reasonable expectations and experience. Despite the issues noted below, there were several positives about my stay at To Hani, including the cooking facilities, affordability, reliable WiFi, and outdoor spaces. However, these were unfortunately overshadowed by a number of problems. - There is a problem with rodents and bugs. During my stay, several people spotted rats on the property, and they could be routinely heard on the kitchen roof. Bugs, including bed bugs, were also a problem. - The kitchen facilities, in particular the sink, could use an upgrade. The sink was far too small and dysfunctional for the number of people in the house, and guests commented that it was supposedly due to have been fixed months ago. - The host was rarely on-site, which was disappointing, having heard how active she had previously been. In my three and half weeks, I did not have a chance to speak with her. Additionally, there needed to be more consistency with the community manager. During that brief stay, there were three separate managers. - Although it’s probably not a problem for many people, there is not much security, the front door is left open at all times, and although I’m sure it’s a very safe area, it did feel a bit casual for my liking. If you do decide to stay, I highly recommend getting a car. In fact, I’d go as far as to say it's essential for making the most of your time, given the limited public transport and the minimal facilities in the local village. I hope things turn around and the host takes on the feedback here, and that others I know have provided, as the place does have a lot of potential and was clearly a vibrant and much-loved coliving at one point.
My time at To Hani was incredibly special and I am hugely grateful to Christy and the community for such a magical time ✨ the rooms were super comfortable, there were great spaces to co-work from and I really liked the kitchen set-up. My favourite memories include dancing together by the fire, community dinners and making great, meaningful connections. Generally it was a warm, safe and comforting energy in the house. I highly recommend staying here if you're looking for a wholesome co-living experience 🥰
To Hani will always hold a special place in my heart, as will the beautiful people I have had the pleasure of meeting during my stay. Christy (the brainchild behind To Hani) should be very proud of what she has created and I look forward to returning one day. Thank you for allowing me to be part of this journey ❤️
fantastic hosting experience! The location is wonderfully serene, creating the perfect backdrop for a truly relaxing stay. The kitchen is a culinary enthusiast's dream with its spacious and open design, making meal preparation an absolute pleasure. Moreover, the daily activities offered here are incredibly engaging and add an exciting dimension to the overall experience. Highly recommend!
To Hani really puts the 'community' in 'co-living'. A great place to live, work, meet amazing people, and explore the beautiful island. Cristy and Silver put in a lot of effort to make everyone feel welcome and make the most of their stay. I called To Hani home for a wonderful three months, and look forward to returning in future.
I really liked my stay at To Hani and my expectations were met. I was in one coliving before and i can totally recommend to spend a month or two at To Hani. Christy and Silver do an excellent job at making you feel at home and it will never get boring. There is always something going on. If you like being part of a community and you like to escape the hustle and busle of a city and enjoy being in nature: To Hani is for you.
