I felt right at home in Tulia. It's a traditionnal canarian house with cute details everywhere, comfy bedrooms and a beautiful coworking space. The hosts are available to answer any questions and really thoughtful. It's the perfect base to explore the north of the island (natural pools, Puerto de la Cruz, black sand beaches, Masca, Teide and Anaga).. I'll definitely be back
For a week I enjoyed a comfortable flat, beautiful shared spaces, and welcoming community at Tulia. I love how the space has been renovated so you have everything you need (including flawless wifi, lovely bathroom) while making the most of traditional Canarian charm. I particularly loved the terraces, courtyard, and cute library!
Hosts Salomé and Cesare are two of the most lovely people you will meet, so helpful with recommendations and personalised support.
I rented a car from Autoreisen to make the most of surrounding areas and I recommend staying for 2 weeks minimum (ideally longer!) to make the most of this beautiful part of the island. The hilly town provides stunning views and is very well equipped with supermarkets, pharmacies, shops, cute bars and cafes, bakeries, plus buses so you can get around without a car.
I had an excellent experience in the valleys of Northern Tenerife at Tulia, very warm welcome and atmosphere (plus a large family of cats from the neighbours), good wifi and workplace but more privacy and autonomy than in other coliving spaces, nonetheless a caring community feel and shared activities to participate when you feel like it. Charming renovated traditional Canarian house in a quiet area with excellent views on the mountains and ocean, amenities and hiking trails close by, beautiful beach at 10min drive. Only very minor downside is that you would ideally need a car to get around but that's pretty much a Tenerife thing but since it's higher up in the local non-touristy neighbourhoods it's a bit more tricky (but feasible) on public transit or foot. would definitely stay there again, thank you for great hospitality!
Tulia Community Guest house is a true gem!
My partner and I spent there two weeks, two lovely weeks in the paradise! The house is amazing, it’s an old typical Canarian house, fully renovated but still keeping its traditional charm. In the property you can find lovely common areas such as patio, beautiful garden with sitting area, shared kitchen, dining and working area even indoor pool with warm water and terrace next to it with lounges for rest and sunbathing. The wifi is superfast and there are a lot of screens that the guests can use. There is amazing rooftop terrace with sitting area and stunning view. And one of my favourite place - the lovely, small, cozy library.
We were accommodated in a beautiful apartment with bathroom and kitchenette, which provided us the chance to be in a privacy when we needed but always when you want to share a glass of wine/beer with the community we had a chance to do this in the common dining room.
And of course, the host, the most beautiful thing in the island. Salome and Cesare are the soul of the house, spread so much love and positivity to their guests. They helped us so much with suggestions and recommendations about what, where and how we can do. They made us felt Tulia as our home during the whole our stay.
The house is located in the north-west part of Tenerife in the beautiful small town Los Realejos. It’s situated on a hilly area, which gives the chance to enjoy the breathtaking views, both ocean and mountain views from everywhere. The town is quite, not so touristic but offers everything that people can need - cafeterias, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, gyms. It’s very close and very well connected by public transport to Puerto de la Cruz, where you can enjoy different activities, beach, events, surf etc.
Highly recommend this beautiful place! ❤️
Our two-week stay at Tulia Guest House was absolutely heavenly. Nestled in the heart of the Canary Islands, this old renovated house exudes a serene energy, complemented by its lush green garden. Each apartment is spacious and well-equipped, boasting a kitchen perfect for cooking up culinary delights.
The coworking space with its breathtaking view, modern screens, and fast internet, provided an ideal environment for productivity. And let's not forget about the delightful neighbors – the funny cats added an extra touch of charm to our experience.
However, what truly sets Tulia Guest House apart is its hosts, Cesare and Salome. Their warmth and hospitality made our stay truly unforgettable. From offering invaluable recommendations to treating us to delicious homemade crepes, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and enjoyment.
Thank you, Cesare and Salome, for creating such a welcoming community. We can't wait to return to this oasis of tranquility.
