The house, the people, the cats and the amazing surroundings makes this place a really lively and vibrant place. It is the perfect choice to make new connections, discover and explore, as well as experience surfing. Francisco is a great teacher, sharing his love for the ocean with interest, joy and an open heart.
A truly wonderful place. We stayed a month in March this year and fell in love with the house the ambiance and the community that Chico (the owner of the house) carefully nourishes.
The house is very big, the garden is amazing and it's just 30 mins away walking from the beach, which gives you an opportunity to run around the area with beautiful views. The house is 30-40 mins away from Lisboa by taxi and 15 mins away from Sintra (and taxis are very cheap), and the area in general is full of castles and nice places to visit.
The people we lived with were very nice and easy going and by the end of the month I can honestly say that we became real friends.
Also working from the house with a garden is a really refreshing and curing experience which allows you to stay productive and rested.
If you are a digital nomad who is looking for a great community, a detox and a great time I 10000% recommend Vivienda Felicidade.
Ah, and Chico also gives Surf classes, which is a nice bonus to all of this.
What an incredible place! I first stayed here last year and immediately fell in love with it and the people it houses. I just left after my third visit, and I cannot recommend this place enough!
The house itself features common areas on the ground floor, including plenty of work-space in the office. On the first floor you find the bedrooms and bathrooms and on the second floor (attic) they have made a beautiful space where yoga and other workshops are often held. You are made to feel at home right away.
My favorite aspect is what goes on behind the building: a full regenerative farm where the principles of permaculture are practiced. A massive backyard where everything from beans and tomatoes to oranges and olives are growing. You are free to get lost in the vastness of natural miracles that goes on, and encouraged to get involved as much as you want.
It's also worth mentioning the amazing people this place attracts. I've met people from all over the world here, all coming together as one community in the house. I've attended yoga sessions, breath works, emotional release, cacao ceremonies and many more workshops, all held by other guests. Most of the guests stay longer term, which fosters strong bonds created by amazing memories.
Lastly, a hug shout-out to Francisco, one of the kindest persons that I've had the privilege to meet, that happens to be running the place. He goes above and beyond to make sure that everyone has an amazing experience staying at his house. He shares everything from secret waterfalls, cliff walks and the love from his cats with the guests that come to stay. If you have any questions, do reach out to him and you'll understand what I mean :)

A place that feels like home - nah, way better than home! I had a great week in this lovely house, located in the middle of the beautiful national park of Sintra-Cascais. A stunning nature, perfect for hikes, for biking, running or visiting the multitude of amazing cities in the surrounding. "The paradise on earth", that I ran into. Chico and Liam are awesome hosts: Kind, helpful. You feel welcome on another level. And, of course, there are the two cutes cats in the world. Already miss their constant presence!
The house, the cats, the area, the host, all are a perfect combination, that gives you the chance to slow down and take a deep breath, remember how life is supposed to be easy and relaxed. I had a REALLY great time with the team and Chico. I totally recommend! 🍀 Hope to be back there soon!
