Had a great stay at this co-living space in Fuerteventura! The place was clean, comfortable, and had a really friendly atmosphere. Camila and Alessio were amazing hosts—welcoming, helpful, and made everyone feel at home. I’d definitely recommend it and would love to come back!

An absolute gem in Fuerteventura! 🌴✨ I spent nearly 1.5 months at Banama Coliving, and I loved it so much that I’ve already booked my tickets to come back! That’s the thing about this place - it’s so wonderful that people just keep returning, and now I’m one of them. I’ve previously stayed at surf villas in Portugal, but this was a completely different and much deeper experience. Banama has this magical way of bringing people together. Even though everyone comes from different countries, age groups, lifestyles, and professions, we were all seamlessly united by the same beautiful vibe. What truly makes this place special is the community managers. They do an incredible job organizing all kinds of activities - sunset trips, beach days, surfing, exploring local spots for tapas or pizza, night parties, and cozy backyard BBQs at the villa. You never feel lonely, yet you always have your space. And, of course, the rooftop yoga! The regular sessions with Federica were a massive highlight. She is an unbelievable coach! Her practice completely turns off your brain and grounds you for 1,5 hours. It made my stay truly unforgettable! This place is completely charged with positive energy. I can’t recommend Banama Coliving enough! See you guys very soon! ❤️

I loved my stay at Banama! It had everything; the family dinners, the day trips and the nights out, and a mix of diverse and lovely people. The house managers do an outstanding job keeping the great vibes and being so proactive proposing plans. I’ll also mention that the coworking space is well equipped and separate from the living room and kitchen areas.

Been twice now and already know I’ll be back. The community is the real thing, you actually make friends here, not just people you forget a week later. The vibe is warm, and Fuerteventura itself is just incredible for surfing whether you’re a beginner or you’ve been doing it for years. Beach is a short drive, waves are worth it. If you’re looking for a proper base to work from abroad with genuine people around you, this is it.

Really special place. It’s a hostel atmosphere but for professionals who also want to work and hang out. Lots of interesting people, almost all solo. Average age late 20s to late 30s and beyond. Staff do a great job of having activities and daily things to bring everyone together. Most people stay 1-2 weeks so time to really get to know each other. Free yoga and HIIT classes and cheap surfboard and wetsuit hire. You won’t want to leave.

More than a colinving🫶🏽 thank you everyone for making me feel at home! There's a good vibe all day long, you can feel free to join activities or do it by yourself. At the same time calm to work with rooms that have only 2-3 beds. It was a perfect stay, can't wait to come back💃🏽❤️

I booked this co-living space for nine nights and decided to leave after three. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend staying here. Why I chose this place The main reason I booked was the way this place is promoted online: a premium co-working and co-living space with daily wellness or yoga classes included. The website and photos look very professional, modern and high-quality. Especially the daily yoga/wellness offering was a key decision factor for me. Reality vs. promise Shortly after arrival, it became clear that the reality does not match what is advertised. There are no daily yoga or wellness sessions. Several guests confirmed this independently. This is not a one-off issue but seems to be a structural gap between marketing and actual offering. Before arriving, I had agreed with the owner that I could teach yoga myself once or twice a week in exchange for a small discount, which I found fair. I explicitly assumed that on days when I was not teaching, there would be other Yoga/wellness offerings available. That was not the case. The situation escalated on the third day when the owner asked how many people attended one of my classes. After I answered honestly (fewer than three), he told me he would not pay for the session. From that point on, communication focused purely on money, while my core concern — that the advertised offering simply does not exist — was ignored. When I expressed that I was unhappy with the situation, the owner’s response was essentially: “If you’re not happy, you can leave.” This was communicated late in the evening, in a very arrogant and unprofessional tone, and with clear pressure: either leave immediately for free or leave the next day and pay. This is not how guests — or people helping out on site — should be treated. Condition of the house & facilities If this place is marketed as “premium”, basic standards are simply not met: The house and rooms were very dirty upon arrival (hair on floors, bathrooms not properly cleaned). Cleaning only happens twice a week, which is far too little for a house with many residents. Bathrooms show signs of mold, sometimes just painted over instead of properly fixed. There is a persistent unpleasant smell. Doors and facilities are broken or worn down — something other guests mentioned has been an issue for months. Yoga mats are cheap, heavily worn and unhygienic, clearly never properly cleaned. Surf equipment is poorly maintained (damaged boards, wetsuits and shoes left outside in the rain). Cushions and furniture in common areas are left outside overnight, get wet and are already molding. Overall, there is a strong impression that no money is reinvested into maintenance or quality. What is good This makes the whole experience especially sad, because: The people staying here are great, open, friendly and respectful. The on-site staff, especially Antonio, are outstanding. They are friendly, supportive and genuinely try to create a good atmosphere. They are the ones keeping this place alive. However, friendliness of guests and staff cannot compensate for false advertising, poor maintenance and unacceptable communication from the owner. Conclusion What is promised on the website is not delivered. This is not a premium co-working or wellness space. Feedback is not handled constructively. Communication from the owner is unprofessional and dismissive. Because of all this, I chose to leave early. Based on my experience — and similar feedback from other guests — I would not recommend staying here.

I had the best time!! Stayed there for 3 weeks. Amazing place to chill, work, surf. And the best community! Would recommend it 100% to any digital nomad :) thanks❤️
