One of the worst and most overpriced place I’ve been to. First and foremost the hotel makes overbooking - we were placed in a completely different accomodation which we didn’t want to stay in. It was so loud the whole night that we didn’t sleep at all. Lights in bedroom wasn’t working, toilet was leaking and the staff was rude and unhelpful. That’s what you get for 150 euros 😅
If you book this place don't book the church bells room or attic. You will here church bells all throughout the morning. My wifi didnt work for 2 of the 3 days which was a bummer. Place is nice but not really worth the price in my opinion.
I got a new room three stairs up a bit further from your reception. Clean and modern decoration, small kitchen and washing machine available location is in the center of the old city. The ceiling is sloped and low i bumped my head a few times against the ceiling in the living room and in the bedroom.
Location location location, no place better!! The team was very friendly, attentive and responsive. No fault of the hotel but a few things you should be aware of, it’s and hotel building so no sound proofing. I stayed in #11 so not only the noise from the streets but also all the noise from the reception area. Also, since it’s in the old town, you’ll need to walk about 10 min from the main entrance which is all cobble stone, so not to easy with roller suitcases. Once you reach the hotel, floor 1 is actually 2nd floor. You’ll need to carry you luggage up 2 flights of stairs
I must say this was the best stay of my entire 2 weeks trip, and I stayed at very luxurious hotels as well. But what sets Kotor Nest apart is the customer service. The hotel staff are very attentive and they do everything they can, they go above and beyond for their guests’ needs. If I visit Kotor again, I wouldn’t think twice and book my stay at Kotor Nest again. Don’t waste time looking for another place, stay here and thank me later😉
Excellent location in the old town (obviously, no parking!) Top ranks for cleanliness, comfortable bed and pillows, toilet and shower excellent. The one small drawback is the lack of sound proofing between guest rooms. The is almost no noise from the outside, very calm. I had a family next to me with small children and the noise was annoying, especially trying to relax in the evening. I'll return - maybe ask for the most isolated room?
The rooms at Kotor Nest are modern and well equipped. Although the location of the coliving is very cool, the sense of community was extremely lacking. The community manager was extremely unwelcoming and wanted no part of the coliving. There were several occasions where the community manager(s) were being dishonest, or gave an unwelcoming feeling overall. When these issues were brought to management, these concerns were not validated, as "nobody else complained" to them directly. As a hotel, this would be very good; but it seems that the coliving aspect of the business has taken a backseat to the hotel. The coworking area is also lacking, with such a small desk that can really only fit around 4 people comfortably. However, I do need to praise the staff. The reason for my lower review is not for the entirety of the staff. I give 5 stars to Mery, the housekeepers, Daniella and Bojana. The deduction of three stars was for the community manager, and the lack of presence by the owner Filip. Filip interacted with the group of colivers once on the first night, and never again. I had heard so many wonderful things of Filip, the community management and the events that were planned at Kotor Nest. It feels like a shame that we did not get to experience this.
