🧐  short staysFine for a workation, but significant turnover goes against coliving principles supporting a cohesive community of residents, employing a minimum stay to better exchange amongst each other. What is coliving?

We came without any expectations as we didn't know anything about Bansko. And we were very very surprised! There are lots of events, parties and activities. You never feel alone because there's always someone there! It's like a little family! We stayed at coliving for 1 month and we had a great time! The coworking area is great, we were very productive and the chairs are very comfortable. There is a supermarket nearby where you can buy everything and the town is within walking distance. Thanks to the hosts for the great time, we will definitely be back!
Do not miss this great co-working place in Bansko and in general one of the best I have ever been. As a digital nomad all you want is friendly, cozy and affordable places, and this place is so much more! Great location, Modern, gym, kitchen, and really great vibes.
Stayed a month — I love this type of coliving hub giving overlap amongst residents and others staying locally, through the coworking and events. You get access to their two other coworking/social spaces too. It's a hybrid coliving having been adapted from an aparthotel, so don't expect the same feeling as smaller better facilitated colivings, yet is nicely suited for longer chilled stays… A debatable advantage is that the lounge and coworking are the same open space (with a breakout), so great for interactions, but would be majorly improved if the basement / other spaces were adapted with proper space planning. The kitchen (buried in basement) and dining arrangements are at best awkward, but are not the end of the world functioning adequately. The basement also has a jam room but needs better furnishing to actually be nice for movies/etc, and more facilitation would be desirable for events. (But I'm a coliving architect/pedant.) Around the Nomad Fest is great indeed the town becomes a bit too busy, can't speak for the rest of the year likely a bit quieter! There's regular events, but be warned when outside on the patio are noisy if you have a balcony apartment (basic rooms are on the quiet side). Management members and staff are regularly present and you'll get to know them—which is cool considering it is part of a what is effectively a local chain yet breaking well against old hospitality norms. On the minuses there's pointless annoyances such as not providing common supplies like toilet rolls, plus a lack of coliving best practices (maybe an artefact of its scale being both a hybrid and blended space), also in a shortage of equipment. Rooms are quite tired but presentable. The space only recently opened and I've heard promising feedback that management is interested in improvements, plus I expect the smaller issues will be resolved in time as processes are developed. Bonus—is dog friendly. The town is pretty good despite its small size, having a couple of fancy resto/brunch/wine/coffee bars alongside cheap fairly wholesome (if repetitive) local grub, although shopping for any kind of varied food at supermarkets is somewhat eyewatering. The surroundings can be lush and there's a decent number of local hikes, bikes and other things, if likely to wear thin after a while. The town has regular events so strictly a coliving isn't a huge value-add over better cheaper appartments, however I do appreciate having fellow residents around with the inhouse events your can stumble up/down stairs from, so can thus say it's good value, and most certainly as compared western European colivings!
Great team running coworking Bansko! Had a great time and enjoyed all the community events. Highly recommended for your trip to Bansko.
Spend 1 week working and living at Coliving Bansko, soon after they open and this was my experience. Coliving Bansko is a great place to work and live, with a gym, Sauna, outdoor spaces, monitors, kitchen where you can cook, coffee, fresh water and sparkling (magic). It's 100% worth by the community. There wasn't 1 day where I didn't have good conversations with inspiring people from all over the world. That's what a coliving is all about. Bansko in general is a great place to put your head down and be ultra productive, having a great working space and decent gym on the building just 10x my productivity. Congratulations to the owners, can't wait to go back and spend a couple of months at Coliving Bansko.
Staying at Coliving Bansko has been an absolutely amazing experience! From the moment I arrived, I was welcomed by an incredibly friendly and diverse community. The atmosphere here is vibrant and inspiring, making it the perfect place for digital nomads, entrepreneurs, and anyone looking to work remotely while being surrounded by like-minded individuals. The facilities are top-notch, with super-fast internet, comfortable workspaces, and everything you need to be productive. But it’s not all work and no play; Coliving Bansko also offers a variety of activities and opportunities to explore the beautiful surroundings of Bansko. What truly sets Coliving Bansko apart, though, are the people. I’ve had the pleasure of meeting some of the most interesting, supportive, and fun individuals here, who have quickly become friends. The sense of community is strong, and there’s always someone to share a meal, a hike, or a brainstorming session with. I wholeheartedly recommend Coliving Bansko to anyone looking for a unique co-living and co-working experience. Whether you’re planning to stay for a few weeks or a few months, you’re in for a fantastic time. It’s not just a place to stay; it’s a place to live, work, and connect. Truly a gem for anyone seeking to combine productivity with adventure and community
Networking Premium Coworking is the largest coworking chain in Bulgaria with coworking spaces in Sofia, Plovdiv, Bansko, and I guess soon in more cities in the country. They have also huge network of partners in cities in other countries. I am saying that not to promote them but just to state that they are well known and respected organization that supports massively the Bulgarian startup and digital ecosystem. They are hard to be mistaken with other - everything they do is elegant, beautiful, high quality, well organized, comfortable, created and made with care for the people that will use it. As you see, there are many reasons why I am a big fan of the coworking spaces. So, when Networking Premium Coworking opened the Coliving Bansko, I had to go and see what they have accomplished. They didn't disappoint! Coliving Bansko is not a hotel for remote workers or nomads, it is entire community where you will find everything you need to feel great away from home - a comfortable live style with a lot of new friends. I highly recommend Networking Premium coworking and its spaces, as well as Coliving Bansko if you are planning to visit Bulgaria and explore this beautiful country while living and working from here. Pictures are from Coliving Bansko, an ex-hotel that is now the place to be and live.
