Artsy, homey, and full of upcycled character, this space feels like a stunning local guesthouse reimagined for nomads.
Our home is in Santa Teresa, a bohemian hilltop neighborhood with cobbled streets, street art, and epic views over the city. It’s Rio’s creative soul, filled with cozy cafés, live music spots, and a warm, artistic community. You’re close to Lapa’s nightlife and just a quick ride from the beaches, but tucked away enough to feel peaceful and local.

Really loved my time at Casa da Gente with the Nomadico crew!
Special mention to Valen, our community manager—she’s the best! She organized amazing family dinners and a unique Carnival experience that I’ll always love to remember. She’s always sharing the best tips and goes above and beyond to make sure you’re settled and welcomed before you even step through the door. She really makes the Nomandico community what it is!
On the other hand, Pauline's house is super well laid out and actually equipped for people who work—the internet is solid and there are dedicated spots to get stuff done. The kitchen is great, the whole place is kept very clean, and the staff are legends (genuinely so helpful).
Santa Teresa is a beautiful, artsy neighborhood and it's surprisingly easy to get around with two metros nearby. Amazing views, too.

Great place! Multiple very well equipped kitchens, multiple comfortable large communal areas. Plenty of space and endless things to do solo or with the planned activities. Perfect place if you want a place to enjoy a community atmosphere.
Placement is on a hill, so the views are amazing and there’s a nice breeze. Nights are quiet.
The volunteers and staff are friendly and extremely welcoming.

The house is big, with a beautiful coworking (with AC, good view and internet) , big shared dorm and good vibes of the Nomadico Comunnity here😊

I had such an amazing time in Medellín with Nomadico, and was honestly sooo sad there wasn’t a Nomadico in Rio… so you can imagine how HAPPY I was when I got the chance to stay here and be part of the Nomadico community again!!! 💛🤩
From the moment I arrived, the vibe was just perfect — sunny, arty, airy, and instantly homey!! The rooms are super comfy, and the communal areas are absolutely lovely for hanging out, working, or meeting new people.
And the location… WOW. We can walk to Lapa for nightlife and social vibes right on the doorstep! The beach is only a 20-minute Uber ride away too :)) Couldn’t ask for more! 💛🌴✨
