The place is spacious and very appealing, making it a great choice for a relaxing stay. The room was extremely comfortable, and the deluxe rooms come with a balcony facing the beach perfect for reading a book while sipping coffee. If you’re lucky, you can also catch the stunning golden sunset of the southern coast.
The location is very convenient, with easy access to Mirissa and the cafes in Weligama. Overall, it’s a calm and cozy place to stay comfortably. I truly enjoyed my two-day stay at Outpost.
We spent lovely two nights at this gem of a boutique hotel. The staff was fantastic from the booking procedure to checkout, always very accommodative and pleasant. The room was spacious and ours faced the gorgeous Weligama bay. The evening stroll on the soft, silky sand at sunset was heavenly! The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was spacious and nice. The work space facing the ocean is anyone's dream! Our only request would be to keep some tea/coffee in the room as there are mugs, spoons and a kettle but no tea.... in the country home to Ceylon tea, this is a real pity. They did give some tea bags when asked. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back again. Thank you! p.s. They have a lovely Chocolate Brownie full of nuts that you must try!
A Hotel cum Coworking space. The rooms are clean and sufficient. Has a pool and the property is 20mtrs away from beach. The cafe at ground floor will fill all your needs. Got the room for 6K INR and stayed for a Night as a Transit stop.
I spent two weeks in Weligama, and it’s one of my favorite places to work. The coworking space is spacious, well-equipped, and also has a café, which makes it very convenient.
The staff are all incredibly friendly and always ready to help with anything you need. There’s also a beautiful community where daily activities like yoga, bachata, and Muay Thai classes are organized. I’ve been to other coworking spaces before, but they didn’t have this kind of community atmosphere.
If I come back in the future, I will definitely choose this place again.
I spent a week there, and it’s one of the best coworking spaces in Weligama. It’s right on the beach and has a pool.
The facilities could be improved a bit and sometimes its smelly, but it’s still a place I would definitely recommend. There’s a fairly large community of digital nomads, and thanks to the community manager, I was able to meet a lot of people. My favorite event was karaoke night!
It’s not just a place to work—you can also have a really great time. I highly recommend it.
I was living in the outpost for a month and a half, and the atmosphere was great from day one. The staff was nice and friendly, from the receptionists, Himaya and Ashan, always smiling, bartenders Taridu, Indyc, and all the rest, were always ready for a laugh. Property manager Mahez helped me with booking the appointment for the hospital when i busted my knee and with everything i asked. Community manager Libe was great. She kept the community alive and vibrant, making sure everyone was included, it was a pleasure meeting them all. The rooms were clean and comfy, the restaurant was also great, everything is close by, every surf spot, gym, ice bath, and sauna I highly recommend the outpost as one of the best coworking spaces and hotel in Weligama

Bright and clean rooms with consistent housekeeping to replace sheets and towels daily.
Staff is friendly and very helpful. We were able to book airport transport to and from the hotel thru them directly.
Hotel restaurant is very good. I had the hummus and pita daily, and the fresh ginger or lemongrass tea was my favorite. Fresh veggie and vegan options, smoothie bowls, and fruit drinks were all good. overall very healthy and delicious meals.
Tuktuks usually available just outside the hotel on the main road at any time.
Beach behind the hotel has beginner surf school and some board rentals for the beach break there. Or take just a quick tuktuk ride to weligama beach with plenty of other surf school options for different skill levels.
I have been here for a month and I had a fantastic time. The rooms could be better but you really don’t spend much time there since there are so many events going on.
Karaoke nigh and trivia night were my favorites, very cool environment to have fun and meet new people. Also sunset yoga to relax was very cool.
I would love beer to be cheaper since I left half of my salary on it but it was worth it.
