🏨 has short staysFine for a workation, but significant turnover works against coliving principles for a cohesive community; a longer minimum stay supports better interactions. What is coliving?
Beautiful places to stay, designed for remote workers.

Staying in Outsite Madeira has been the highlight of my time in Portugal. It was a piece of paradise with an instant community of people that made me feel welcome and we did some fun things together. It was also great to network and share ideas about remote work. I’m so thankful! It was exactly what I needed. Shout out to Elisa who brings it all together so well :).
We had a great stay at Outside in Ponta do Sol. It was the perfect escape from busy cities—peaceful and quiet, but still with a lively atmosphere. The community manager, Elisa, was fantastic: super responsive, helped us with free parking, and even recommended a great local concert series happening during our visit. The restaurants around Outside are also excellent—definitely take advantage of the walkable dining options. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a relaxed, friendly base in Madeira.
Besides the amazing sunset views and the calm aesthetics of the rooms, the real gem of this place is the Community Manager, Elisa! She was very proactive and responsive to any queries. She also organised weekly events for the Outsiters staying to create a sense of community. I really enjoyed my time there and have very fond memories!
Ponta do Sol was my first solo work abroad and my first stay at an Outsite location. The community Elisa fosters is so welcoming and fun! I felt lucky to have such amazing coworkers at the hotel throughout my stay. The amenities made it easy to live and work comfortably, but the people truly made my experience unforgettable. I loved it and can’t wait to go back—next time I’ll stay longer!
Absolutely loved my stay at Outsite Madeira!
The location and property are fantastic, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and provide plenty of space to work—especially for online meetings when the coworking space gets busy.
Elisa is an amazing manager who goes above and beyond to create a welcoming and social co-living experience. She organizes plenty of activities, brings everyone together, and is always ready with great recommendations for things to do around the island.
For those looking to explore beyond the immediate area, I’d definitely recommend renting a car. It makes it much easier to access nearby attractions, bigger supermarkets, the gym, and all the incredible hikes Madeira has to offer.
Can’t wait to be back!
What an amazing stay ! The place is really really nice, the rooms are spacious and very well furnished. The community manager, Elisa, was fantastic. And all the other guests were really nice to meet. Best experience ever !
Everyone at Outsite Madeira is very kind, Elisa is super helpful. She managed to set up a community that actually works, where people reach out, ask for help and share great experiences. My whole trip got 10x better because of Outsite, while I only stayed 3 nights. This was my first time, and I'll be sure to do more Outsite trips because of this.
