Staff is very nice! Great for the money! Location is central and employees make you feel very welcome. I sprained my foot on the slopes and was offered pain relief gel and a bandage at no cost. Just out of the kindness of the owners heart. Would definetly recommend and come again.
Very helpful and welcoming staff. Especially the owner is very friendly and cool. It's located in the very centre of Braunwald so you don't have to walk far to the ski stations nor the station bringing you up. The kitchen is well equiped as well and if you are not particularly into cooking there is a bar downstairs which offers food and occaisonal parties. I've been going to this place for six years now with my friends and we gladly come back every year. Very good value for money.
Not really the best experience. Even though the location is nice and I have no complains about the cleaniness of the premises. The issue was that there was loud music in the bar that could be heard upstairs (after midnight). I asked the person in charge if the volume could be turned down. The answer was a clear no. I suddenly got more attention when I announced I would write a negative review. To which the landlord followed me to discuss. When I ended the conversation and opened a door to reach the staircase, he even pretended to have been hit by the door I was opening (that's ridiculous, please don't do that). I therefore do not recommend this place. (the landlord eventually asked the music to be turned down, but did not really excused himself).
Very conveniently placed close to the funicular and the lifts, provides decent food and breakfast. Personnel is very helpful, provided tools for the MTBs. Clean. Rooms could use some renovation. Bar and lounge room
We spent 3 amazing days at the Hostel. It has a super nice location with a breathtaking view from the balcony. Several hiking trails are available, starting right from the entrance of the hostel. The staff was friendly, and they were also one step ahead of our needs and wants.
We recommend this place everyone who wants to escape from a rushing big city life.
