Positives
* staff are lovely and very helpful
* location is great, close to a lot of restaurants and cafes and yoga studios
Possible improvements
* the sense of community isn’t as big as it appears online - ie about 5-6 people come to the communal activities. For example in our 10 day stay in January the pool was mostly empty the entire time.
* Also member orientation shouldn’t be called that, it’s just a casual gathering - no actual orientation. I asked a bunch of questions and the girls were lovely but they couldn’t answer - including what the app is for the online community. Though bless them they were polite.
* coliving is already 300 USD per week, yet they charge 6 USD on top of that to use the Coworking space was really odd (and each event is also an additional cost)
* the bathrooms in the rooms have a weird smell that lingers even after being cleaned.
Overall it’s a comfortable place to stay, but what’s being sold is a “community” and I think they need to work on that - it’s clear they’re trying but something is clearly not working.
I stayed at this property for some time around the Ubud area. The location was convenient as it was close to my friend's house. I must say, the staff at this property is exceptional! They all go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable. I highly recommend acknowledging their efforts with awards!
Such an amazing place to work and to stay. I really love the warm community and their exceptional host team. Definitely will come back sometime soon. The coworking space is comfortable with a beautiful lush view. The room is comfy and it has a pretty balcony
First off a huge shout out to the team at Outpost Ubud. They are warm, friendly and supportive, providing incredible service!
It is great to see that they instill community rules for guests to support up keeping the common space.
Our room and bathroom was large and very clean. Beds were very comfy, and there was lots of space to store your things. There is a fantastic co working space at the top, and space for yoga sessions. The communal kitchen was clean, and very well organized for each room to store their food! They have all the kitchen supplies you need as well. Pool was such a nice add on 😊
The location is also ideal close to many delicious restaurants, cafes, workout/yoga studios and shops.
Outpost Ubud seems to attract like minded individuals, who also respect the shared space of others.
Absolutely loved staying here and would definitely choose to book Outpost Ubud again next time.
Super cosy and convenient venue. I remember the internet worked well upstairs in the coworking area and managed to get a lot of my remote meetings done.
Rooms are big and amazing…..bathroom has an interesting bath shower….the pool and share kitchen area is so nice too. Great place honestly.
The establishment is attached to a vegan restraurant. I’m not vegan but their coffees are great.
For meat eaters like myself there are your regular cafes just a minute or two minute walk away in.
May need to a scooter or taxi to get to ubud central area but doesn’t take long.
