Sokkool in Canggu is honestly so much more than just a place to stay, it’s an experience, a community, and such a special energy that is hard to put into words. From the very first moment, I felt welcomed, comfortable, and connected. The location is absolutely perfect: close enough to everything happening in Canggu, yet still peaceful enough to truly enjoy and recharge. Everything feels easy and accessible from here. But what truly makes Sokkool special are the people and the atmosphere they created. The community here is incredible. Whether you come alone or with friends, you never really feel alone. There is always such a warm, open, uplifting vibe around the place, and it naturally brings beautiful people together. The events and activities are honestly one of the highlights. You can really feel how much love, intention, and positive energy goes into everything. A very special thank you goes to Dave, your energy, kindness, and everything you create here are truly a blessing. You can tell that this is not “just business” for you, but something you genuinely care about. The atmosphere you create makes people feel seen, included, inspired, and at home. Some places you simply visit, but places like Sokkool stay with you long after you leave. I can recommend Sokkool with my whole heart to anyone coming to Canggu, especially solo travelers looking for good working place, connection, good energy, meaningful experiences, and a place that truly feels alive. Thank you for everything.

100000/10!! If you’re looking for a co-living/co-working space, Sokkool is genuinely the best. The co-working setup is great, the living spaces are super comfortable, and the community makes it so easy to meet people and settle in. But what really makes Sokkool special is the people behind it. You can tell so much care goes into making the place feel warm, welcoming, and easy to be part of. Haren and Dave are the heart of it all. They have this way of bringing people together and making everyone feel included straight away. They’re warm, witty, easy to talk to, and always bring the kind of energy that makes the whole place feel alive. Wayan is the quiet legend who keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. He sorts out all the random everyday logistics and is funny while doing it. Ivory, Nia, and Arif at the front desk are absolute gems. They’re always smiling, always kind, and make you feel at home from the second you walk through the door. The café and housekeeping teams remember your name, your routine, and all the little details that make the place feel personal. It’s the kind of everyday thoughtfulness that makes such a difference when you’re living and working in the same space. The best way to experience Bali is the Sokkool way.

I stayed and coworked at Sokkool for 2 weeks and honestly, I couldn’t have wished for a better place to start my digital nomad life. I was actually pretty nervous about coming to Bali alone and figuring everything out by myself, but because of this experience I never once felt alone. 🥹 From day one, everyone made me feel so welcome. The people here are incredibly kind and there’s such a warm and friendly atmosphere. During the week they organize really fun activities, which makes it super easy to meet people and always have something fun to do besides working. They also have a WhatsApp group, which makes it really easy to connect with others, join events and never feel left out. Haren (Chief Happiness Officer 🫶) and Dave make sure everything is well organized and really go out of their way to make everyone feel comfortable and included. I’m genuinely sad that Haren will be leaving soon, but I already know Sokkool will be just as amazing when Dave takes over. Also a big thank you to Arif, Nyoman, Nia, Ian and Dian for all the kindness, laughs and good energy. ❤️ If you’re thinking about staying or coworking in Bali: just do it. Sokkool truly feels like a little family. I’ll be back soon!

I stayed at SOKKOOL for a little over two months, and it was the perfect base during a stressful work period. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the community is very open, which made it easy to connect with others. The highlight for me was the Kintamani glamping trip Haren took us on; climbing Mount Batur for the sunrise after a night in a private onsen followed by an BBQ with a small group was an unforgettable experience. In the co-working I mostly worked in the AC rooms or open-air space when the wind was right. There were monitors available for use and the office chairs were comfortable to sit in. While the Wi-Fi had a few "off" days, the direct Ethernet access in my rooms and the focus rooms was a good back-up. The rooms I stayed in were well-maintained and cleaned every other y, with any minor issues resolved swiftly by the staff. The beds were very comfortable and it was easy to keep it organized with how the storage space was divided. The convenience here is hard to beat for a long-term stay. Having an on-site gym, cafe, laundry next door, and an supermarket around the corner. One tip: extend your stay early as I was a bit late and had to switch rooms for my final weeks.

AMAZING stay at Sokkool. The people working there are great and put so much effort into making you feel at home. The community is great, really social and nice. They have multiple WhatsApp groups where they communicate different events and where you can talk to other people working or staying at Sokkool. Overall, amazing experience and I would definitely go back, especially if I’m travelling on my own

I stayed at Sokkool for a total of two weeks (Feb 7–16, then returned again from Feb 22–27 after staying elsewhere in between). Sokkool is truly perfect for digital nomads. The first floor has both an outdoor open-air workspace and an indoor air-conditioned area. There are also phone booths available if you need to take meetings, which is very convenient. The staff at Sokkool are incredibly warm and helpful. Once, the WiFi in my room suddenly stopped working, and after I contacted the IT team via WhatsApp, they came very quickly and resolved the issue. Housekeeping is provided every two days, and the room was always kept very comfortable and clean. There are also many events here. I joined the Saturday day trip to Ubud for a Melukat ceremony, and on Friday we went to the beach together to watch the sunset. Sometimes there are workshop in the afternoon as well. You’ll meet digital nomads from all over the world, exchange ideas, and enjoy a great community vibe. At the same time, if you’re more introverted, you can absolutely focus on your work in peace as well. A special shoutout to the community managers, Haren and Dave they truly make the stay extra special and full of laughter. I highly recommend Sokkool to any remote worker. It’s a fantastic place to stay and work in Bali.

I spend 3 wonderful weeks in Sokkool and can definitely recommend if you're looking for accomodation, cafe, coworking, and community in one place. The location is great, a large supermarket right around the corner and plenty of restaurants, the staff were extremely kind and supportive. The rooms were neat and clean, a bit small, but it didn’t bother me because the space is used very efficiently. The beds have built-in drawers that give plenty of storage for clothes, so it never felt like a lack of space. Overall great experience, would definitely come back.

The best co-working place in Canggu. I only used the co-working place, I was not a guest in the hotel, but it's something I'd consider for next time. Staff is very polite, welcoming, professional and kind. It's a great community and nice people to hang out with. It feels like having friends around. I came here around 3 times a week, for 2 weeks. The co-working place is very well equipped and feels cozy. I've been to other co-working places in Canggu, but Sokkool is by far the best ! I fully recommend it, I'd come back if I'll ever work remotely from Canggu.
