Don’t even know where to start to describe how amazing of an experience I had at Wild Sould. The location just outside of town is amazing. You can see the ocean from the front deck and it’s a quick 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The house is stunning. Thoughtful design. The kitchen of my dreams. A hot tub. Also a really great coworking space which is important for working comfortably. Huge bonus for Paddington, the world’s cutest dog. But more importantly, the community that Nick and Carolyn have created is world class. It’s obvious they truly care about the people and they create an incredible environment to enjoy Ericeira. Family dinners, movie nights, game nights, beach days. Deep chats. My month stay was incredible and I left with some life long friends. If you’re in Ericeira and open to experiencing what community living can feel like, you have to stay at Wild Souls.
I can’t recommend Wild Souls enough. It was the first stop on my solo travelling journey… and then I came back to stay again 2 weeks after I’d left! Carolyn and Nick are great at hosting, and I felt at home right away. The best bonus is Paddington, the sweetest dog who loves to play and gives a great cuddle. The house is designed really beautifully and the spaces are so comfortable - from incredibly comfy beds to the best stocked kitchen, and cozy and quiet co-working space, it feels like home. But most importantly the community feeling is really special, and at the same time there is space for alone time in this peaceful home. After spending a month and a half in Ericeira I can confidently say this co-living is the best value and family feeling you’ll find. To make your experience great, I recommend staying for 2 weeks minimum and if you’re a surfer it would be good to rent a car. I was working full time while I was here and felt I had time and space for community activities, alone time, and working Monday - Friday. There’s also a small home gym and great outside spaces for your own yoga practice or to read a book in the sun.
What makes Wild Souls special isn’t just the beautiful workspace, tasteful interiors, comfy rooms, or the epic kitchen, it’s the people.
From the moment we arrived arrived we felt welcomed into a warm, open and genuinely inclusive community. There are so many opportunities to connect, whether through shared family dinners, wellness activities, surfing, or simply great conversations with like-minded people.
Carolyn and Nick have created something super unique here. They strike a rare balance of making everyone feel at home while fostering a sense of connection that feels completely natural.
A special mention to Paddington (possibly the worlds best dog) and for the abundant coffee (easily the best in Ericeira!!) and lastly the beds! I think i had the best night’s sleep in years here!
If you’re looking for more than just a place to stay, somewhere that leaves you feeling inspired and connected, Wild Souls is it!!
Carolyn, Nick and Paddington are truly wonderful hosts! I stayed at Wild Souls for a week during a solo workation, and my only complaint is that I wish I had stayed longer.
From the moment I arrived, I felt genuinely welcome. Carolyn and Nick have found the perfect balance between creating a social atmosphere and giving guests the space to do their own thing. Whether you want to join activities, work, surf, or simply relax, everything feels easy and natural.
The house itself is fantastic. As someone who has traveled a lot, I can honestly say this was the best-equipped kitchens I've ever had access to while traveling. The rooms are comfortable, everything is spotless, and the showers always have great water pressure and hot water.
Wild Souls is much more than just a place to stay, it feels like a little community.
And of course, Paddington deserves a special mention for being the cutest host of them all.
I would come back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a productive, relaxed and welcoming coliving experience in Ericeira.
This is not just a holiday place, it’s a home. Every detail in the house has been chosen with so much love, the rooms are bright and Carolyn and Nick are the best hosts anyone could wish for. We will definitely be back at this slice of heaven!
I stayed at Wild Souls in October for 3 weeks as a solo guest and absolutely loved it. Nick and Carolyn are super friendly and have made the home such a beautiful place to be. Ericeria is a gorgeous part of Portugal and one I now recommend to anyone that will listen. As my first ever co-living experience I can say that I've come away with friends for life and memories that I'll always hold close to my heart. I will definitely be back to Wild Souls as it really did feel like home 🤍
I have spent the past few years living as a digital nomad and Wild Souls is by far the best coliving I have experienced : ) Carolyn and Nick are amazing hosts and have done an excellent job at setting up a space that is comfortable, social, relaxing and productive. One can tell that community is at the center of their business. A typical day at Wild Souls can start with surfing or yoga, coffee and homemade bread, getting work done in the coworking space, and end with a surfskate session or family dinner. The staff is incredibly helpful and everyone including the guests tends to help out to keep the space more like a home and less like a hotel.
As a nomad, Wild Souls has been the best coliving I’ve ever stayed at! Beyond the amazing facilities — the stunning kitchen, cozy living room, comfy coworking space, beautiful terraces, and peaceful bedrooms — the people make this place so special.
Carolyn, Nick, and Paddington are the sweetest family, putting so much love and care into building a truly genuine community. I’ve met incredible people here! There’s never a shortage of good vibes and fun activities — from surf, skate, yoga, and beach walks to family dinners, cheeky drinks, and dance nights out.
I also love the location: it’s calm, surrounded by nature, and just a short walk from a scenic beach.
