PAS Rural Coliving is a truly special place. I came here for 2 weeks in July, and stayed for almost 2 months. It's super chilled and incredibly welcoming, with a real community spirit. It's in a very rural location (the clue is in the name) and so there isn't much in the way of shops and cafes within walking distance. But there are shared bikes and a communal car (all free to use). Ideally come by car, but it's not really necessary (I didn't have a car). You're in the hills in rural cantabria, so you can go hiking or cycling directly from the coliving in nice rural surroundings. There were things happening most days, and almost every evening someone would cook for everyone. There's an emphasis on shared living and community events, but in a relaxed way so that you don't feel obliged to join in if you don't feel like it. It's the perfect balance in that regard. The accommodation is in 5 cabins, each with two bedrooms and a shared kitchen and bathroom. They're nicely made wooden cabins, and apparently the carpenter who made them lives in the village. The cabins can accommodate up to four people each. While I was there I mostly shared with one other person, and was on my own for a few days. There's a sixth "community cabin" which has a shared kitchen, a small office for taking calls, and a meditation room. The emphasis on shared living is most evident through the kitchen: everyone cooked for each other. PAS operates according to the "gift economy", which basically means everybody contributes what they feel like/can afford. It's a really nice way of doing things, and worked out really quite fairly, I think. There's a vegetable garden from which you can use whatever is ripe (and help out by looking after it and planting things). The coworking is in its own space. There are 4 or 5 large tables and a large sliding door that fully opens. It was nice in the summer as it feels really spacious with the door open, and you have a view of the hills. I tended to use the kitchen table in my cabin to take calls. Oscar and Lulu are great hosts and make everyone feel very welcome. Muchísimas gracias! I will come back for sure!
Staying in PAS felt like pressing pause on the world, surrounded by beauty, kindness and meaning. The place, people and nature created a harmony that’s hard to put into words. I met wonderful people and we had so much fun together! I’m deeply grateful for this time and everything it made me reflect on ♥️
I went to Pas Coliving for what I thought would be a couple of weeks, but I ended up staying 6 weeks — and I would have stayed longer if I could. What makes this place truly special goes beyond the beautiful facilities and the surrounding nature. It’s the values and dedication that Lulu and Oscar are planting in every corner of Pas. It’s not just about meeting and connecting with people — it’s about the honesty of the process: creating a space where different generations can live together, learn from each other, and grow side by side. Everyone is free to focus on their productivity and work, while at the same time there’s always room for meaningful conversations about purpose and values, or simply a refreshing dip at Pas to clear the mind. This place makes it possible to find that rare balance between being and doing, all while growing. If you have the chance to go, I can only recommend giving it a try. Maybe I’ll see you there.
Such a special place in the north of Spain! Surrounded by lush green hills and mountains, it almost felt like a little rainforest and the sea with its amazing beaches is not too far away. What truly makes it unique are the people, thanks to Lulu and Oscar, whose kindness and big hearts attract equally lovely souls. The beauty of the nature and community made my stay unforgettable ❤️
Staying at PAS is a life-changing experience! The location is amazing—you're surrounded by beautiful Cantabrian nature, a reason in itself to visit. But what makes this place special is the people you meet and the community that you are welcomed into. For a remote worker this the perfect place to balance work with pleasure. If you want to stay somewhere with a purpose and look for meaningful connections with both nature and people, this is your place. I couldn't recommend PAS more!
This is a very special co-living in the heart of Valles Pasiegos, Cantabria. The cabins are clean and cozy and have everything one could need for a nice stay. The co-working is nicely designed and WiFi works very well everywhere. The overall atmosphere is really special here, so calm and peaceful yet inspiring and joyful. Lulu and Oscar are amazing hosts and really care about their colivers. When you come to PAS you don’t just come live in a co-living, you become a part of a really beautiful community. Can recommend this place from the bottom of my heart ❤️
What an amazing place and community! PAS Coliving is not a place, it is a space, dedicated to the values society needs more today. The hosts are amazing people who give so much of their love and time for you to have an amazing experience. They are very connected to the local environment and opportunities.. The times we have been there have been really special and we hope to keep coming many more!
