What are colivers saying?

about remote working from great coliving spaces…

at Outsite, Madeira 🇵🇹  village community facilitation
I had a fantastic stay at Outsite Madeira and would definitely recommend it, especially for digital nomads and anyone looking for a relaxed place to work while exploring Madeira. One of the highlights of my stay was the community manager, Elisa. She was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make everyone's experience memorable. She organized social gatherings for guests throughout the week, which made it really easy to meet people, and she also gave excellent hiking recommendations that helped me make the most of my trip. The location is hard to beat. It's right in the heart of Ponta do Sol with stunning ocean views just outside your window. Waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was a huge bonus. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the coworking space was well-designed with everything I needed to work remotely. The only downside is that the location is quite isolated, so you really do need a car if you want to explore the island, especially if you're a big hiker like I am. I was fortunate that a few people staying at the Outsite had rental cars and kindly gave me rides, which allowed me to complete 3 hikes during my 7 day stay. However, I would have loved the freedom to hike every day without relying on others. My recommendation is to rent a car directly from the airport when you arrive. There's plenty of free street parking right outside the Outsite, making it very convenient. Overall, I had an amazing experience. Between the beautiful setting, comfortable accommodations, great coworking space, and Elisa's outstanding hospitality, I'd happily stay here again and rent a car next time so I can explore more of the island.

Jelena and Joey set up a wonderful coliving in the Alps. Cloud Citadel is breathtaking in its beauty. Jelena is an extraordinary host. Living there is calming and cool. I could not recommend it highly enough.

We hosted our partners here and it was an amazing experience! They thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and especially the wide range of activities and experiences Somos offers: meeting other guests, workshops, and many activities to explore the island and connect with others. The team was fantastic and attentive 24/7 to everyone: special mention to María and Leonor. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. The rooms are beautiful and functional; you can see the care that went into selecting high-quality materials. The shared spaces were very useful for our guests: always clean, spacious, and very modern. We will definitely trust Somos again to help our partners find their place on the island. Thank you for everything!

We spent a week in Void, and everything here was perfect. It was always lively, and the owner puts a lot of effort into making everything seamless. They organize a lot of fun activities in the weekends, and also some food walks in the weekdays. Raji gave us amazing food recommendations. Wifi was great, we worked without any interruption for the most of the time. It is located in a very calm area, but it's very close to the cafes. There are many cafes you can choose from just a 2 minute walk away.

Don’t even know where to start to describe how amazing of an experience I had at Wild Sould. The location just outside of town is amazing. You can see the ocean from the front deck and it’s a quick 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The house is stunning. Thoughtful design. The kitchen of my dreams. A hot tub. Also a really great coworking space which is important for working comfortably. Huge bonus for Paddington, the world’s cutest dog. But more importantly, the community that Nick and Carolyn have created is world class. It’s obvious they truly care about the people and they create an incredible environment to enjoy Ericeira. Family dinners, movie nights, game nights, beach days. Deep chats. My month stay was incredible and I left with some life long friends. If you’re in Ericeira and open to experiencing what community living can feel like, you have to stay at Wild Souls.

tl;dr - had fun, will definitely come back. I stayed in a private room with a private bathroom. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, it had a small table and a closet and was dark and quiet in the morning. Getting there takes a while, but it's worth it because the area is amazing. You can choose between several hikes, take the bus to town and go to the beach, visit nearby villages etc. The atmosphere is a typical co-living experience - you have a workspace, shared kitchen, living room and dining room, very large yard, yoga studio, a small workout area and a very large yard. During your stay you're encouraged to participate in shared activities and contribute from your own experience. The hosts are nice and helpful, they assist with getting by, groceries runs etc.

I had a wonderful stay at this farmhouse. The place was beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The owner was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always willing to help, which made the experience even better. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique farmhouse stay, especially bikers riding through Spain. It’s the perfect place to relax, enjoy the countryside, and experience genuine hospitality. I would definitely stay here again!

I had such an amazing experience staying here that I ended up extending my stay from a few weeks to a total of five weeks – and I'm already thinking about coming back in a few months. As someone who travels solo, works remotely, and loves surfing, this place offers a truly unique concept. You instantly meet like-minded people, but there's never any pressure to join group activities. You can be part of the community or simply enjoy your own space, which I absolutely loved. The house is incredibly well equipped, with everything a surfer or digital nomad could ask for: a spacious kitchen, a dedicated coworking office, and restaurants, cafés, the supermarket, and the beach all within walking distance. The rooftop sauna and ice bath were definitely highlights. The hosts are genuinely kind, welcoming, and always happy to help. They clearly care about both the guests and the house, and everything is very well looked after. Overall, I think the value for money is excellent, and I would book this place again without hesitation. Highly recommended!

Stayed for a month wish it was longer! Goto is a wonderful island. Calm and relaxing, filled with lovely people, nature and activities. The team at pier go out of their way to help you have a fantastic experience. The place is clean & has all you need for a comfortable stay. WiFi was fast, was able to work and do calls. Downstairs there’s a cafe with a large coworking space too if needed. Absolutely planning to come back!

A magical place! As soon as you arrive, you can take a deep breath, relax and wind down. Liam and Chico welcomed us with open arms and created a wonderful atmosphere. The house and garden have a charm all of their own, you can’t help but feel at home. Gala and Meeko, the two cats, are simply adorable ✨ Thank you so much for sharing your Home!

Stayed at SameSame for about 3 weeks on my first trip to Lisbon and had a great time. The space is well maintained and the location is great, especially if it’s your first time in Lisbon. The community aspect is best part of staying at SameSame. The community led events and friendliness of the co-livers made all the difference. Would definitely make my way back to SameSame when I have the chance.

I am beyond grateful for this experience, which made this summer absolutely perfect — the memories I got to create and the friendships I got to build. My time here was truly incredible; I met souls from every corner of the world, and their warmth made this place feel like home. Creating bonds like these, ones that feel like a portal to somewhere you belong, is something I never knew I could find in a coliving space. This was my first time experiencing something like this, and I know it won’t be the last. Every activity left me in awe, nature overwhelmed my senses with beauty, and my body grew tired from adventure — yet I always found my way back to Escape to share it all with kindred spirits. There aren’t enough words to describe it. Only gratitude remains.

An absolute gem in Fuerteventura! 🌴✨ I spent nearly 1.5 months at Banama Coliving, and I loved it so much that I’ve already booked my tickets to come back! That’s the thing about this place - it’s so wonderful that people just keep returning, and now I’m one of them. I’ve previously stayed at surf villas in Portugal, but this was a completely different and much deeper experience. Banama has this magical way of bringing people together. Even though everyone comes from different countries, age groups, lifestyles, and professions, we were all seamlessly united by the same beautiful vibe. What truly makes this place special is the community managers. They do an incredible job organizing all kinds of activities - sunset trips, beach days, surfing, exploring local spots for tapas or pizza, night parties, and cozy backyard BBQs at the villa. You never feel lonely, yet you always have your space. And, of course, the rooftop yoga! The regular sessions with Federica were a massive highlight. She is an unbelievable coach! Her practice completely turns off your brain and grounds you for 1,5 hours. It made my stay truly unforgettable! This place is completely charged with positive energy. I can’t recommend Banama Coliving enough! See you guys very soon! ❤️

Enchanted coliving is the dream! The host Bianca and her team of animals are nothing but exceptional. The place is quiet and the only thing that you can hear are the birds, the movement of the leaves in the wind and chitchatting of the hens. Night times are magical with fairy lights in the garden seated around the table and playing games or having thoughtful conversations, and while laying in bed and looking at the starts through the ceiling’s window makes every single moment feel magical. I will be back again and again, as the stories that Bianca told about all the places around Nachamps seem taken out of novels, and you’ll need few more days than me to go and experience their way of life.

If you are a digital nomad or travelling solo and want to meet an amazing community that pushes you to grow, Sokkool is your place! Dave and Haren do a great job bringing everyone together, with an event/gathering happening every day. Rooms are a bit small, but used very conveniently. At night there is some noise from nearby clubs and in the morning some construction works, but I would still choose this place every time. Hopefully to come again 🙏🏼
