What are colivers saying?

about remote working from great coliving spaces…

If you are looking for somewhere to stay and work remotely, that's walking distance to the beach, restaurants, bars, and has a great community vibe - this is the place. I stayed 3 weeks here, and had an amazing time. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable; wi-fi is fast & reliable and the common facilities have everything you could need (there's even a BBQ!). Lina, the community manager, does a fantastic job of organising group activities, and creates an environment where it's easy to connect with other like-minded travellers. I would highly recommend Amplitude, I had the best time here and I will definitely be back!

I have in total spent 4 months as a volunteer in this coliving. 2 months in September and November and 2 months in June and July. You can find many places where you can ‘tick’ the boxes of cleanliness, hospitality and rooms and give a 5 star review. But if you plan to stay to have a home for a while, it needs more than boxes you can tick. Vincent and Clairie (and their children Babou and Yäel) have created a home where the roof is tall enough for all types of people. I have met people from all over the world with all sorts of interest here, and most seem to find their role in the house. I admire the way Vincent and Clairie still keep their own values, even though many people pass their home. For that they have inspired me a lot. The village is cute and beautiful and there is a lot of local life in the area. Such as festivals, concerts, movies, paragliding, markets etc. and Vincent is also up to date with what is going around. There are also plenty of hikes to do from the house or stunning ones if you go somewhere with car. The house is huge with a breathtaking view. Even with many people in the house, you can find a spot if you need quiet time. The rooms have a lot of charm and the kitchen is well equipped and big enough for improvised dancing and singing! 😁 The community has a beautiful balance of colivers taking their own initiative and Vincent suggesting events and activities in the area. I will definitely return again. Because it’s home. Because it’s family. And because there isn’t a lot of places like these anymore. I can’t recommend this place enough! Lots of love and well done to you Vincent, Clairie, Babou, Yäel and Benji 🐕❤️

Loved my stay at Hoppin House!! Had everything you need for working remotely and community to explore with! Even had multiple places to work from, monitors and laptop stands for you to use, and strong wifi for video calls. The location is great. You can walk to everything you need and so much more. Plus close by the metro and bus stations to get anywhere else you want to go. Highly recommend staying at Hoppin if you’re coming to explore Seoul!

Spectacular spot, spent 5 nights here on retreat, can't fault it. Excellent facilities, pool, deck and lots of space to relax in peace or connect with others. Totally idyllic. There's a waterfall and river you can swim in just over the road too which was a highlight for sure. Clara is a delight as a host too. Book it you will not regret it.

at Outsite, Madeira 🇵🇹  village community facilitation
I had a fantastic stay at Outsite Madeira and would definitely recommend it, especially for digital nomads and anyone looking for a relaxed place to work while exploring Madeira. One of the highlights of my stay was the community manager, Elisa. She was incredibly welcoming, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to make everyone's experience memorable. She organized social gatherings for guests throughout the week, which made it really easy to meet people, and she also gave excellent hiking recommendations that helped me make the most of my trip. The location is hard to beat. It's right in the heart of Ponta do Sol with stunning ocean views just outside your window. Waking up to the sound of the waves every morning was a huge bonus. The bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, and the coworking space was well-designed with everything I needed to work remotely. The only downside is that the location is quite isolated, so you really do need a car if you want to explore the island, especially if you're a big hiker like I am. I was fortunate that a few people staying at the Outsite had rental cars and kindly gave me rides, which allowed me to complete 3 hikes during my 7 day stay. However, I would have loved the freedom to hike every day without relying on others. My recommendation is to rent a car directly from the airport when you arrive. There's plenty of free street parking right outside the Outsite, making it very convenient. Overall, I had an amazing experience. Between the beautiful setting, comfortable accommodations, great coworking space, and Elisa's outstanding hospitality, I'd happily stay here again and rent a car next time so I can explore more of the island.

I stayed at Nesting Away in April and had the most wonderful month there. It was my first time staying at a co-living so had all the usual nerves that come along with doing a new thing but from literally the moment I arrived I felt totally welcome, at ease and at home. The house is beautiful and has been really lovingly renovated making it a proper cosy home. There’s loads of space meaning you can get a good mix of social time but you can also slope off to a quiet spot (or a hammock) if you want a bit of solo time. It’s really lush and green everywhere you look (I also helped plant a vegetable garden while I was there, which was super lovely.) It is quite remote so just be aware of that in case it’s not your thing (about a 25 min walk into town… you can get the bus in too although I always walked it). The system for grocery shopping was great - David, our community manager, arranged supermarket trips 3 times a week so you were never stuck short for food, water or wine. I felt so lucky with the people I met there - but hearing about other people's experiencesI think everyone feels that way, so actually I think it’s because of Ola and Fede’s approach to community building and the fact they vibe check everyone who comes (not in an elitist way at all - just in a ‘are you a good human’ kinda way). Thank you Ola and Fede - you have created a truly special place at Nesting Away and I’m so happy I decided to stay there. And to anyone who is going back and forth with the ‘should I do it’ decision... just go for it. It’ll be great!! 🌞

I had an amazing experience in Windhoek Kamatjona co-living space was excellent—comfortable, and welcoming. The host was truly one of the best I’ve ever had, and he and his team were always supportive, helping us navigate our stay with ease. Tuta, the owner, made me see Namibia from a completely different perspective. It’s a place I will definitely return to.

at Italy Farm Stay, Lazio 🇮🇹  rural
A brilliant few days on the farm! 🌻 (Visited: 15–18 July 2026) I had a fantastic stay at Italy Farm Stay. I was originally supposed to stay in a single room with a shared bathroom in the yellow house, but since it was a new project and not quite finished yet, I stayed on the main farm instead and was upgraded to my own private bathroom. Even though there are lots of volunteers and visitors around, the farm itself, the fresh food, and the overall energy are still incredibly peaceful. Antonello plays a huge role in getting all the guests together and making the farm feel like a true community. Thank you for the laughs, Antonello! Your great sense of humor definitely added to my stay. Giuseppe also made me feel very welcome. A huge thank you to him for showing me around the farm and for the kind gift of a little bottle of olive oil, which was such a thoughtful gesture! We did daily morning Hatha yoga sessions with Julia, who has a wonderfully calming voice. The yoga platform itself is nestled right in the woods, providing a peaceful setting to start the morning. One of the volunteers, Beatrice, took a group of us to a nearby waterfall, which was a fab experience. I also went horse riding at a nearby ranch on a lovely horse named Kito (or Kido), which I highly recommend doing. I also want to mention Roberto, another wonderful volunteer. His friendliness and warmth made everyone feel included and completely at ease. If you are looking for a place to disconnect, eat great food, and meet lovely people, this is a great place to go. I hope to be back again one day to see how the new projects turn out! 🇮🇹🧘🏽‍♀️🍝🥗🍉🍆🍅🌻🚶🏽‍♀️⛰️🐴🏰🌄🌊🌿

Just wow. This was my first coliving experience and I cannot express enough how absolutely wonderful it was. The property is well curated and perfectly set up for the remote nomad lifestyle with gig-fast internet and plenty of workspace options. The accommodations were perfect. Clean, spacious and a communal kitchen that actually serves as a functional kitchen! They have onsite amenities including laundry, a pool and shared refrigeration. Not to mention a short, but beautiful hike down to the lake perfect for a dose of nature and a swim! That said - the real gem was the community of people that host and the individuals that the space attracts. I had an opportunity to learn more about Galicia and the local communities of Anceu and Ponte Caldelas. Including some incredible live music and pizza at Solfami!! Communal dinners, daily activities and a bountiful dose of sobremesa. I can’t recommend Anceu Coliving enough!

We hosted our partners here and it was an amazing experience! They thoroughly enjoyed the facilities and especially the wide range of activities and experiences Somos offers: meeting other guests, workshops, and many activities to explore the island and connect with others. The team was fantastic and attentive 24/7 to everyone: special mention to María and Leonor. Thank you for your kindness and hospitality. The rooms are beautiful and functional; you can see the care that went into selecting high-quality materials. The shared spaces were very useful for our guests: always clean, spacious, and very modern. We will definitely trust Somos again to help our partners find their place on the island. Thank you for everything!

We spent a week in Void, and everything here was perfect. It was always lively, and the owner puts a lot of effort into making everything seamless. They organize a lot of fun activities in the weekends, and also some food walks in the weekdays. Raji gave us amazing food recommendations. Wifi was great, we worked without any interruption for the most of the time. It is located in a very calm area, but it's very close to the cafes. There are many cafes you can choose from just a 2 minute walk away.

Don’t even know where to start to describe how amazing of an experience I had at Wild Sould. The location just outside of town is amazing. You can see the ocean from the front deck and it’s a quick 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The house is stunning. Thoughtful design. The kitchen of my dreams. A hot tub. Also a really great coworking space which is important for working comfortably. Huge bonus for Paddington, the world’s cutest dog. But more importantly, the community that Nick and Carolyn have created is world class. It’s obvious they truly care about the people and they create an incredible environment to enjoy Ericeira. Family dinners, movie nights, game nights, beach days. Deep chats. My month stay was incredible and I left with some life long friends. If you’re in Ericeira and open to experiencing what community living can feel like, you have to stay at Wild Souls.

What a beautiful place. Perfect if you’re looking for a retreat away from the city noise, but just a few kilometres from a charming little town in Puglia. The hosts, Francesco and Sabrina, are wonderful, always ready to help and very present, which makes such a difference. I truly enjoyed my one-month stay, the house is big and comfortable, with plenty of coworking space and a vegetable garden with fresh produce available every day 🌿 There’s a real sense of community that makes the experience even more special. I would definitely come back. They have one of the best sunsets I’ve ever seen 🌅

FEM is an absolute gem for anyone seeking clarity, inspiration, and genuine human connection. The setting is spectacular—surrounded by dense woods and endless paths, yet incredibly accessible. As a remote worker, I found the infrastructure excellent and the atmosphere highly conducive to creative flow. Beyond the excellent workspace and comfortable accommodations, the heartbeat of this place is its community. Elena and Joan have a gift for bringing people together effortlessly. Whether we were sharing a casual drink, cooking side-by-side, or gathering around the outdoor fire, the camaraderie felt authentic and easygoing. They run this space with immense heart, mindfulness, and a clear dedication to sustainable rural living. It was a privilege to be a part of their world for a month, and I highly recommend it!
